Description
To coordinate the lifecycle of Cape Cod Healthcare IT assets.
  • Manage the operations of the IT procurement and inventory management function.
  • Perform asset flow control in and out of CCHCs environment, deployment and issue of assets, and tracking movement of assets within CCHC.
  • Analyze all IT procurement requests for appropriate need and approvals. Procure all IT hardware and software.
  • Organize, create, and manage processes for software record keeping within ServiceNow.
  • Manage the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, service agreements, and maintenance agreements for CCHCs hardware and software.
  • Manage licenses in an on-going, consistent and effective way across vendors; create or update IT software license asset records, software license contracts and software maintenance agreements and associated relationships in ServiceNow.
  • Reconcile contracts and license entitlements with software installations.
  • Manage physical assets from receipt at receiving dock, and storage, to deployment.
  • Apply asset tags to hardware, as appropriate.
  • Minimize organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of department processes.
  • Document information systems flow and procedures as required.
  • Serve on hospital committees and task forces as directed.
  • Assume other duties as directed.

Qualifications:
 
  • Associates technical degree required or five years related experience and education obtained that demonstrates the necessary skills and abilities to perform this job.
  • At least two years or more experience in management and tracking of IT hardware and software assets.
  • ITILv3 Foundation certification required; ITIL Practitioner certification preferred. Additional ITILv3 certifications a plus.
  • Three or more years experience working with Microsoft products such as MS operating systems and MS Office, as well as other software packages (e.g., Adobe).
  • Proven ability to coordinate and lead others through project implementation and to communicate effectively (written and oral) at all levels.
