Hours: 80PP, 8a-4p, no weekends, no holidays

Serves as a clinical resource for Rehabilitation staff in a focused area of clinical

expertise; plans and conducts treatment programs for patients.  Responsible for assisting management in the planning, development, organization and supervision of the specified clinical specialty area.  This is to include Program and Staff Development for therapy services related to the clinical specialty area.  Responsible for direct Clinical Therapy Services as determined by patient need and staffing.



1.     Participates in clinical consultation and co-treatment with rehabilitation staff.

2.     Plans and presents inservice education and continuing education courses as requested.

3.     Performs the duties of a staff physical therapist or occupational therapist.

4.     Maintains professional growth and development through approved seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in field of expertise.

5.     Participates in the clinical instruction of physical therapy or occupational therapy students, as requested.

6.     Attends meetings as required.

7.     Assists in training/orientation of new personnel as requested.

8.     Performs other work related duties as assigned or requested.



·          Entry level degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Program.

·          Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and minimum of three (3) years clinical experience.

·          Documentation of Specialist Certification.

·          Holds current National Provider Identifier (NPI).

·          Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
