Job Details

To safely perform minor repairs (not requiring performance by trades persons) to buildings facilities and equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment for office personnel.
  • Transport and/or re-arrange desks, bookcases, file cabinets, computers, monitors, tables and other office furniture.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor emergency plumbing, HVAC and electrical repairs. (Repairs not requiring licensed craftsman.)
  • Maintains cleanliness of bathrooms. (Clean toilets, sinks, fixtures and mirrors, wash floors.)
  • Maintain cleanliness of office work areas stairs and hallways, i.e., vacuum, empty trash, etc.
  • Upon request perform small and large painting jobs in a skilled manner.
  • Perform minor carpentry jobs using care and safety when using power tools.
  • Assemble, repair, and/or rearrange furniture, storage racks, file cabinets, and door locks, as required.
  • Identify and pick-up papers for shredding. Shred and dispose of properly.
  • Monitor and change water bottles as needed. Keep water cups stocked to an appropriate level.
  • Receive, store, monitor and stock supplies as needed. (Copier, fax and printer paper, QI/UR supplies, bathroom and cleaning supplies.)
  • Keep an inventory of supplies and report inventory to Facilities Coordinator.
  • Apply knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations and standards, by identifying and reporting violations to Facilities Coordinator. (Where possible correct any violations).
  • Assist, when needed, with field programming of omni-locks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Satisfactory work record and attendance.
  • Possess a valid Mass Driver’s License.
  • Have access to a reliable vehicle and be able to transport supplies, small furniture and boxes between multiple sites.
  • Mechanical aptitude acquired through vocational school, outside activities or on the job experience.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow a set work schedule, without close supervision.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime hours when needed.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.

Schedule Details: 37.5 hours per week, hours are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, every other weekend on-call, occasional weekends%0AThis is an entry level position.
