NURSE SUPERVISOR-180124-50003016
Under the direct supervision of the CNO/COO, is responsible for planning, interpreting, coordinating, evaluating and maintaining approved standards of nursing practice and patient care. Responsible for identifying managed care patients, verifying eligibility, re-authorization and other information as required by patient's insurance, interfacing with hospital staff, insurance representatives and case managers as this hospital's primary contact person.

  • Ensures staff provides quality safe care according to current standards of practice for administration of procedures/treatments/medications.
  • Ensures staff provides effective patient/teaching.
  • Ensures staff documents according to entity/dept. guidelines.
  • Addresses age-specific needs of infants, toddlers, school age, adolescents, adults, older adults.
  • Acts as administration in charge of FH during shifts.
  • Supports, interprets and enforces Patient Services and Hospital Policies and Procedures.
  • Performs other work related duties as requested or assigned.

  • Knowledge of theories principles and concepts acquired by completing a Bachelor s Degree in a college or university.
  • Three to five years experience.
  • Current RN licensure in Massachusetts required.
  • Current BLS.
