Job Details

Assumes the supervisory role and responsibility for the activities and functions of resident services on assigned shifts Demonstrates supervisory qualities by working cooperatively with management and caregivers Assists in planning and organizing resources (personnel equipment supplies and processes (methods procedures policies and systems) toward the attainment of Heritage s mission goals and objectives including the optimum provision of services to customers
  • Acts as the on site administrator supervisor during scheduled shift
  • Assists in providing nursing care to residents involved in assessment of physical psychological and social dimensions of residents assists in planning evaluating and directly participates in implementing a service plan of care for residents
  • Implements clinical and technical aspects of care and nursing orders in accordance with established policies and procedures Intervenes with proper technique procedure and safety precautions to meet individual needs of residents
  • Administers prescribed medications and documents same according to Heritage at Falmouth guidelines
  • Functions within limits of Nursing Statutes and Regulations of the Commonwealth and Heritage policies and procedures
  • Provides direct care to residents with nursing needs and assists with the ADL needs of residents
  • Performs treatments or assists in treatments and procedures in accordance with Heritage policies and procedures
  • Observes residents completes documentation in a clear concise and professional manner and records information according to prescribed Heritage policy and procedure
  • Keeps Management informed regarding conditions of residents and or other pertinent observations
  • Assists in assessing planning implementation support and evaluation of resident family instruction
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with residents family members visitors and staff
  • Keeps resident visitor staff information confidential and respects residents Bill of Rights Assists in maintaining a clean safe environment for residents and co workers
  • Participates in the identification of the important aspects of care for each resident and helps monitor the evaluation of quality and appropriateness of care Assists in and performs assignments as required
  • Assists in in service and training programs
  • Participates in self enrichment programs to maintain the high quality of nursing practice following state regulations for yearly in service hours

  • Must be a licensed nurse currently licensed in the State of MA
  • 1 to 2 years working with seniors 1 to 2 years supervisory skills
  • Customer Service Training Must be proficient in the use of personal computer and Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel PowerPoint and Project
  • Must function independently have flexibility personal integrity and the ability to work with residents personnel and support services
  • Must be able to work with ill disabled elderly and at times emotionally upset people
  • Must have knowledge of aging and disability issues
  • May be required to lift and move equipment and supplies
  • Must have a valid MA license and be able to operate a 12 passenger van

Schedule Details: 40 hours a week, 11PM to 7AM, every other weekend, rotating holidays
