Job Details

Administrative Assistant wanted for building/landscaping company in Chatham. Monday - Friday, approximately 25 hours per week. Pay commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Work directly with managers to provide administrative support and organization
  • Answer calls and emails from customers and vendors in a timely and professional manner 
  • Work closely with owner to create customer invoices, receive payments, and oversee collections
  • Generate Excel spreadsheets and Quickbooks reports
  • Filing, scanning, faxing
  • Check employee paperwork for accuracy at end of day
  • Occasional local travel to run errands

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills and high degree of professionalism
  • Experience with Quickbooks 
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of Mac computer systems and other office equipment
  • Superior organization skills and ability to multitask a must
  • Prior experience in building industry a plus but not required
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
