The Emergency Department Healthcare Liaison will be responsible for the stewardship of donors enrolled in the Lightkeeper’s Society as well as other VIP donors that are not Lightkeeper members with the objective of enriching the donor’s experience with the health care system, leading to increased support as well as expanded membership.
  • In the absence of the Manager of Donor Relations, the Emergency Center Healthcare Liaison will cover the 24 hour-7 day per week page system for the Cape Cod Hospital emergency department and assist with the healthcare needs of the Lightkeeper Society membership.
  • The Emergency Center Healthcare Liaison will coordinate care and report healthcare activity and needs of the Lightkeeper Society membership to the Manager of Donor Relations.
  • Responsible for developing and fostering positive personal relationships with key clinical staff.
  • Position requires the Emergency Center Healthcare Liaison carry the Lightkeeper Pager and cell phone 24 hours per day while on duty.
  • Perform other work related duties as assigned or requested.

  • Associates degree required or equivalent experience. BA degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years experience in customer service preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Able to handle numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills.
  • Familiarity with fundraising and development desirable.

Schedule Details: Per diem position, rot. days, day/eve/night shifts, rot. weekends, rot. holidays.
